Wow !! Jupiter is Larger than Life !! Jupiter is the Giant Planet of our solar system. Approximately 483 million miles away from the Sun. It's our Largest Planet, 120 times Larger than Earth and has a diameter of 89,000 miles compared to the Earth's 8000 miles.
Jupiter has Planetary influence over Sagittarius. And, Jupiter is the Planet of good luck, optimism and generosity. In fact, Jupiter has always been identified as the Planet of expansiveness, abundance and great fortune.
In mythology, Jupiter was a ruler of the heavens, Supreme God of Gods. The all powerful guardian who symbolized honor, good faith and wisdom. How Fantastic !!
But, now, Let's take an astronomical look at (3 unique qualities of Jupiter) :
1. In 1973 the pioneer 10 ( Nasa Space Probe) discovered that Jupiter would emit about twice the amount of heat that it receives from the Sun.
2. In 1979 space voyager 1 and 2, sent back pictures of dusty rings around the Planet Jupiter.
3. Jupiter completes its orbit around the Sun in about 12 years. And, like the earth, it rotates on its own axis and for a Planet its size, it spins very rapidly. How Fantastic !!
